Security Officers are needed for immediate hire for various locations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. Valid Security Officer License or be able to obtain one. (Level II & III classes available). 
  2. Must be 21 or older.
  3. 8-hour annual certificate up to date.
  4. Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  5. Be able to pass an extensive background check ( No felonies) and submit to a drug screen. (Random drug screening acceptance required)
  6. Able to stay alert and observant for extended periods of time.
  7. Have a valid Texas driver’s license or obtain one within 30 days of being employed.

 

Description/Duties:

  1. Guard and patrol the property to maintain a security presence.
  2. Respond and report incidents reported by patrons and visitors.
  3. Guard and patrol all areas, which includes monitoring the access to restricted areas during after hours.
  4. Report and submit incident reports.

In order to work as a Security Officer in Texas, you must be licensed by the Department of Public Safety. You must first take the 8 Hour Pre-Assignment Training Course and receive your certificate of completion. The 2nd course, called the 16 Hour On-the-Job Training Course, you must complete within 3 months of receiving your Pre- 8 Hour certificate.
