The Texas Level III Security Officer Certification is your gateway to advanced security career opportunities throughout the state. This comprehensive online course provides the specialized training required by the Texas Department of Public Safety for security professionals seeking Level III certification. Through detailed modules, you’ll gain essential knowledge of legal regulations, tactical procedures, emergency response, and professional communication techniques required to excel in today’s security industry landscape.

Certificate

Once you have completed the course and passed the test, you will need to schedule your 10-hour in-person portion. You can contact one of our instructors at 214-390-6616 or 469-390-1044 to schedule the classroom portion of the course. This part of the certification will include defensive tactics and handgun qualification. Once you have completed this, you will receive your certificate.

Range Fees are the responsibility of the student.

Retesting

Students will have three opportunities to pass the final exam successfully before they have to reapply for the course.

Students will have thirty days to complete this course once they have purchased it.
